Revealed: Which Airline Is The Best In The World?

Skytrax has released their annual airline rankings, where they tell the world who the best airline in the world is as well as handing out trophies for various local categories. Singapore Airlines took out the main prize, for “World’s Best Airline”, picking up that prize for the fourth time. But what about our local carriers? Here’s a look at some of the results.

The top ten airlines in the world were

  2. Qatar Airways
  3. ANA All Nippon Airways
  4. Emirates
  5. EVA Air
  6. Cathay Pacific
  7. Lufthansa
  8. Hainan Airlines
  9. Garuda Indonesia
  10. Thai Airways

The awards are calculated from the responses to a massive airline passenger satisfaction survey which is fully funded by Skytrax. Airlines do not pay any survey entry or registration fee, and the awards event is free to attend. There are no charges for airline use of the award logos and results. Skytrax gives out dozens of different awards based with regional trophies as well as travel classes and for the quality of cabin crew and service. The
