Aldi Is Selling A Monster 75-Inch 4K TV For $1699

This Saturday, Aldi will be selling Bauhn’s 190cm Ultra HD 4K TV for just $1699. That’s 75 inches of 4K goodness! Here are the details.

The $1699 Bauhn 75” Ultra High Definition LED LCD TV will be on sale at all ALDI stores on 13 January. Noteworthy features include a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, four HDMI ports, a built-in HD tuner and USB media playback.

Let’s take a look at the chief specifications:

Resolution 3840 x 2160
Refresh rate 120Hz
Contrast Ratio 4000:1
Brightness 340cd/m2
Response Time 9.5ms
HDMI ports 4
Viewing Angle H:178 / V:178
Built-in HD Tuner Yes
PVR Yes (via USB)
USB media playback Yes
Dimensions 1684 × 289 × 1028 mm

The above specs – particularly the refresh rate and response time – aren’t great, but for this price you could certainly do worse. If your primary concern is screen size this is a nifty proposition.
