Shout Makes It Easy To Curate A List Of Links, Send Them Off To Friends

iOS/Chrome: If you like to collect together different links, whether that’s for organising a vacation or just random cool stuff, Shout makes it easy to do so, then turn that collection into a list of stuff other people can see.

Shout works something like a more public-facing Pocket and takes the idea of Pocket’s public profiles to their logical conclusion. As you come across articles, videos or PDFs, you can add them to Shout, then organise those into specific lists.

Once you have a bunch of stuff together, you can then share that list with other people through a newsletter or within Shout itself, where you can also follow other user lists. You can also just keep your list private and use it just like any other bookmarking service.

For me, I found it useful to collect together links for an upcoming vacation into a handy list that was easy to share, but how you use it is really up to you. If you really fancy yourself a useful purveyor of the internet at large, you could just use it to create your own fancy newsletter of aggregated articles.
