You Can Make Your Facebook Profile Picture Temporary

You Can Make Your Facebook Profile Picture Temporary

Whether it’s to show solidarity for a social issue or you just want to change things up, you may want to occasionally swap out your standard Facebook profile photo. When you change your picture, you now have the option to make it temporary.

How-To Geek shows you a step-by-step guide on how it’s done, but the process is pretty simple. Just head to Edit Profile, then hit the “Update Profile Picture” on your photo icon. When you replace your photo, Facebook offers the option to make it temporary, and you can choose to change it in increments of an hour, day, week or just customise your own time frame. Of course, you have the option to make it permanent, too.

Along with this feature, Facebook also has a “Frames” feature that uses an overlay on your photo. Head to How-To Geek’s full post for more detail on both.
