If you're tired of eating that huge batch of soup you made, or you're just not sure what to do with the last dredges, grab your blender. You can turn it into a sauce that you can use with a bunch of other meals.

Sarah Britton of My New Roots shared a clever tip for using up leftover sauce on her Instagram: blend it up and use it as a sauce. You'll need a high-powered blender or food processor, but other than that all you have to worry about is seasoning the soup sauce to taste.
And if you're working with a thinner soup to start, you might actually need to thicken it up. Blend up a thickening agent like cooked potato, cornflour or even some white beans and you should be all set. Now you have a nice sauce you can use on grains, vegetables, chicken, or fish.
