Control Your Mac With A Pebble Smartwatch

The Pebble Smartwatch is pretty neat, but it doesn’t connect to your computer in very interesting ways. Coder Joseph Schmitt decided to see if it was possible to get a little more out of his Pebble, and figured out a way to launch websites on his computer from the watch itself.

The process uses Command C, an iPad and Keyboard Maestro to daisy-chain the process of sending a link from the Pebble to the Mac. The software alone costs $US43, but the end result is a cool way to launch websites on your computer.

Obviously, this has limited uses, but Schmitt’s guide could lay the foundation for doing a lot more cool stuff.
