Dealhacker: Get $150 Worth Of Sid Meier Games For Under $10

The Humble Bundle is an online PC games sale that allows customers to pay whatever they want with all proceeds going to charity. This time around the spotlight is on the mighty Sid Meier who is responsible for some of the best computer games in existence. If you're a budding strategy gamer, this is probably the best Humble Bundle you are ever likely to see.

The Humble Sid Meier Bundle includes Civilization III, Civilization IV, Ace Patrol, Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies and Railroads. You can pay what you want down to a minimum of $1. But try not to be too cheap — the amount you choose to spend will be donated to the charity Action Against Hunger.

You can also give some of the money to the games publisher and/or the organisers of Humble Bundle, although this is entirely optional.

People who pay more than the average (currently sitting at $7.52) will also receive Civilization V and Civilization V: Gods and Kings. If you elect to pay more than $15, you'll also get Civilization V: Brave New World which currently has an RRP of around $50. Click here to head to the deal!

Yeah, but they all appear to be shackled to Steam, not only the Civ V ones.

What's the issue with that, if you don't mind my asking?

I don't mind at all. I'm not a Cloud person (except for GOG), so I view Steam as an imposition rather than a convenience. And I don't like being beholden to it any more than necessary.
