Use An Upside-Down Baking Pan To Reduce Stovetop Splatter

Pan frying can produce delicious results, but it can also produce lots of grease splatter all over your stovetop. Once it gets under your burners, it can be a pain to clean. Thankfully, the folks at America’s Test Kitchen have a solution: a baking pan flipped upside down.

Just put the upside-down pan over your other burners while you cook, and the grease and splatter will end up on the back of the baking pan, where it’s easy to clean off when you’re finished cooking. It’s simple, doesn’t require you to buy anything, and it’s easier than lifting the burner grille or taking out the drip pans just to clean them up. Personally, I think a simple grease splatter screen is a worthwhile investment too, but this works just as well. Hit the link below for some more clean-as-you-go kitchen tips.
