Brow Adds Browser Bookmarks To Spotlight Search

Mac: By default, Macs show Safari bookmarks in Spotlight with full previews and search, but that search functionality doesn’t extend to Chrome or Firefox. Brow is an app that adds all your bookmarks to Spotlight.

If you’re a heavy bookmark user, you know that it’s often tough to keep track of everything. The Spotlight search built into OS X is fantastic, but it only works with Safari. Brow adds your bookmarks you have saved in Chrome and Firefox into Spotlight, complete with previews, and will open them with your default browser when you select them. When you first launch Brow, you’ll need to grant access to your bookmarks, and from there on out it shows you the results in Spotlight.
