If you’re an avid Skype user, you’re probably aware that Skype’s been suffering downtime today. They’ve updated their blog with more details (in short, supernodes went down, so they’re creating new mega-supernodes — I’ll bite), but it’s likely going to be a few more hours before your Skype account is back up and running.

It’s got to be bad timing for Skype (and Skype users), considering the amount of video calling I’m sure goes on during the holidays. (I just video chatted with my family last night.) [Skype downtime today]
