This tool works best for salaried or hourly employees, rather than freelancers who might be paid per project. You enter your salary, along with a handful of details about your work habits: how often you skip lunch, how many minutes early you come in and so on. The tool then calculates how many extra hours you work each year and values that time based on your salary.
