Instantly Search Google In iOS 9 With ‘Paste And Search’

iOS 9 has a ton of great little hidden features, and over on iDownloadBlog, they point out another one with “Paste and Search” and “Paste and Go,” two new clipboard options that make searching in Safari a little more pleasant.

When you copy something to your clipboard and paste it into Safari’s address bar (tap and hold onto the address bar, don’t tap the address bar, then tap the text and hold), you’ll now get one of two options, depending on what you’re pasting. If it’s just a word or phrase, you’ll see “Paste and Search,” which does exactly what it says it does, paste the phrase in and then search Google for it, without any additional taps. Likewise, if you copy and then paste a URL, you’ll see “Paste and Go,” which just sends you to that URL without any extra taps.
