Build Your Own Pro-Style Poker Table At Home

Hosting game night on your dining room table isn’t always the ideal situation. Up your game and build this dedicated poker table to seat eight players. It will work for other card games too, and it’s way cheaper than buying a table with the same features.

A good card table is the perfect addition to your man cave or game room. It’s tough to find them for a reasonable price, especially the larger ones. Even so, with some simple materials you can buy at your hardware and craft store, you can build your own. The video above shows you how to build the table. It includes tips for measuring and cutting an octagon, working with the speed fabric, laying the foam in the center, and staining the whole thing.

You’ll need two sheets of birch plywood, one sheet of MDF, four table legs, green speed cloth, and two yards of closed cell foam padding. As far as tools go, you’ll need a circular saw, jigsaw, brad nailer and drill.

You can be game ready in one weekend, but be prepared to be the host of choice after everyone plays the table. For the complete plans and more photos check out the link below.
