Start Screen Unlimited lets you add gadgets directly to the Windows 8 start screen. You can add items such as a digital clock, Google search box, and power controls right to a dock that you can drag to any spot on your start screen you like. All those features are free for personal use. A deluxe version adds 3D menus, commercial use, and early access to new features.

While it’s a nice concept, it looks like shit. I’m not even gonna sugarcoat it. You couldn’t even pay me to install that.
So is this supposed to work on Windows 8.1? Because it doesn’t seem to do anything.
