Skype 2.8 For Mac Adds Screen Sharing, Wi-Fi Access And More

Mac OS X only: Back in January Skype released a beta version of the popular VoIP application that added screen sharing tools, integration with Wi-Fi access service Boingo, better audio and video, and several other improvements. Today Skype 2.8 was released, officially rolling these improvements into the stable release of Skype. If you’d been waiting to enjoy the new features until they left beta, now’s the time. When are they going to release Skype for Blackberry? They promised it in May this year. Anyone heard anything?

@EnzoFX: Well, you need a skype-for-mac-version to send your screencast, but any skype-client is able to receive it.

linux version? i've never found a really good UNIVERSAL screen sharing app for linux. vnc works okay if you go through all the nonsense of setting it up in it's on Xsession, etc, etc. no screen won't work.
anyone know?

Anybody have experience with screensharing over skype between mac and windows? compared to crossloop? acrobat.com? others/
