What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?
Every day do something to intentionally improve yourself and your relationship with staff. Be truly passionate about your work and growing your staff. And the most important lesson of all: put people before profits.
What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?
Understanding what motivates staff – and it’s not money.
What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?
Flossing.
What’s your sleep routine like?
Chaotic – I have 4 children under 6!
What advice would you offer to other businesses on how to succeed?
Make sure you have an obsession with your frontline (staff, retailers, distributors), and make sure your marketing helps alleviate common obstacles, for example the fear of the unknown.
