Chrome: If you don’t have the time to watch every episode of your favourite shows as soon as they’re available, Unspoiler lets you browse the web without spoilers. Add your favourite shows and keywords, and Unspoiler will automatically hide them on Twitter, Facebook or anywhere else on the web.
The add-on is really simple. Once installed, just click the Unspoiler button in Chrome’s toolbar, type in the name of the show or any relevant keywords you don’t want to hear about (so, for Breaking Bad, for example, type “Breaking Bad”and “Heisenberg”), and the add-on does the rest. As you read your favourite blogs, posts on your Facebook news feed, or browse other sites, Unspoiler checks the page content first to see if anything relevant is posted. If it is, it will hide it behind a nice big red warning.
If you want to see what’s been hidden, just click the Unspoiler button again and reload the page. It’s simple, effective, and if you’re a few episodes behind on one of your favourite shows, this gives you a way to keep reading without worrying about someone ruining it for you.
