iOS: Fans of the text-only reading service Readability have reason to celebrate — this morning their long-awaited iOS mobile apps finally launched, offering users the ability to take their saved articles with them on their iPhones and iPads, read them anywhere and access their Readability accounts on the go.
Hot on the heels of irs update back in January, Readability’s new iPhone app is completely free, and allows users to access any articles they’ve saved using the Readability browser add-on or the “save to Readability” features available in newsreaders like Reeder, Pulse, or even some Twitter clients like our favourite, Tweetbot.
Readability for iOS is available now in the iTunes App Store, and like all of the service’s other features, it’s completely free. You can still donate to support the project or its developers, but if you left Readability behind in favour of other similar services, the combination of free features and mobile apps make it worth another look.
