Interested in U.S. Politics? You Can Follow The Big Issues With ‘Categorized Tweets’

Not everyone has the time to follow politics as closely as others, especially if you’re in another country. Much as we’d like to avoid it, Australia has a stake in the U.S. 2020 election and understanding a bit more about U.S. politics and the stances of political representatives can be useful. If you want to stay on top of all the happenings, a site like Categorized Tweets give you a helping hand.

As its name implies, Categorized Tweets is an incredibly useful web-based tool that allows you to quickly see any tracked U.S. politician’s tweets across nine major issues using the 2020 Election tab: gun laws, the economy, race relations, foreign policy, immigration, education, LGBTQ, healthcare, and climate change.

Each representative (or candidate) gets a profile on the site, and you can drill down to see exactly what they’ve been tweeting within that subject category by clicking on it. In other words, you’re only two clicks away from viewing what any politician has said on Twitter (within the last month) about a topic that matters.

There’s no way to drill down to what every politician is saying regarding a particular stance, but that’s probably for the best.
