LinkedIn

What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?

You need to understand your “eco-system”, your total environment! Only when you have a good understanding of a situation can you make decisions that achieve the desired outcome. Another lesson is that your best asset is your people. Providing your team with an atmosphere that allows them to excel is key. As part of this, optimise your processes so the team can focus on their core roles.

What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?

IT Security has changed everything we do today. Many enterprise companies who think they are protecting their organisations are actually very open to the global threats that we witness daily.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?

My experience of more than 25 years in IT management allows me to understand a situation quicker.

What’s your sleep routine like?

As you get older your sleep less, I get on average six hours.

What advice would you offer to other businesses on how to succeed?

Be focused in executing your strategy.
