We can all agree that nothing distracts an entire office from work like food does, so why not bring in some goodies from your trip to share? Not only will this give you an excuse to stray away from your assignments, but you’ll have a reason to spend your afternoon reminiscing about your favourite parts of vacation.
It’s a straightforward enough suggestion, and one that you might have done before. It’s always nice to bring tasty souvenirs for coworkers, but it can also help jog pleasant memories of your recent trip. It’s just a simple tip for coping with the post-holiday blues. (If you’re looking for a more permanent solution, you can try to make your everyday life feel more like a holiday too.)

I don’t know. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to risk an altercation at customs by bringing in food.
that’s why you declare all food just to be safe, worst case you have to throw it out.
I’ve bought food back every time I’ve come back from overseas and declared it all, never had an issue.
