Make A Folding Extension Cord Organiser For Easy Storage

There are a lot of great ways to manage your extension cords, but this DIY build can fold up to save space and help you keep your workshop organised.

The video above, from YouTubers Mike and Lauren, explains their process of designing and building the folding hook system. The whole thing can be made from whatever wood you can get your hands on, and attaches to a 2×4 stud (but you could modify that however you want). Once you have it all set up, just raise the arm and you’ll have three hooks that fold out so you can neatly hang your extension cords.
