Contactive Brings Caller ID And Phone Call Notifications To Chrome

Chrome: Previously mentioned Contactive combines your social networks and its own database to add contact info to your phone calls. Now the company is bringing that same feature to your desktop so you can see who’s calling you without even touching your phone.

The app mirrors your phone call notifications in Chrome and shows you who’s calling you when your phone rings (as seen on the right above). You can even click on the notification to pull up Contactive’s whole profile. For your personal contacts, this can include any Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail or Google+ information you have. Contactive also includes information from its own databases of businesses, so if a company tries to contact you, it will display all the information Contactive has without interrupting your workflow.
