Switchr Shows Live Previews As You Swipe To Switch Apps

Android: It’s easy to switch between apps on an Android device, and most newer phones have a button dedicated button for it. But if you want an app switcher with full-screen live previews or extra gestures, Switchr is for you.

Once installed, Switchr gives you a dedicated swipe “zone” on the screen that you move your finger to in order to activate it. From there, you can swipe between apps quickly and select the one you want.

The best thing about Switchr is that you can customise it to show you full-screen live previews of the apps you’re moving between and use it to close apps that are running in the background.

It works just as well on tablets as it does on phones, and the app has lots of settings for sensitivity and the size of the swipe area. It even has some tools to try to fix itself if it’s not running well on your particular device. It’s free, but the $2 Pro version unlocks all of the available settings and options.
