Google Cloud Print Now Works Within Windows

Google has expanded its options for using its Cloud Print remote printing service, adding a Windows printer driver and the ability to share printer connections as links.

The new Google Cloud Printer driver allows you to add the Google Cloud Print service as a printer directly within Windows. The emphasis to date with Cloud Print has been printing from tablets and phones. Given the ubiquity of Windows printer drivers, this is unlikely to be your main printer access technique, but it’s a useful backup, especially for remote workers.
