Hotel breakfasts are all too often overpriced rip-offs, so any chance to save on them is welcome. Travelodge is offering a $2 buffet breakfast deal across December and January, which is a good saving, but it's worth checking the fine print.
The deal only runs between December 16 and January 29 and requires you to stay for at least two nights. The $2 price does cover breakfast for two adults though.
This would be a good option if Travelodge is also the most competitive room where you're staying, but I'm still not sure I wouldn't settle for cheaper accommodation and a take-out breakfast, or bringing my own. What's your hotel breakfast strategy?
