NameDropper Batch Renames Files And Folders In Seconds

Windows: If you’ve just taken a ton of photos, or you have a bunch of documents that you want to rename so they’re in sequential or date order, NameDropper is a Windows utility that lets you drag all of the files you want to rename into one window and process them all with a single click.

To use NameDropper, you’ll first have to drag and drop the files you want to rename, and then drag in the name that you want applied to the files. The app will then append incremental numbers in patterns you select. While NameDropper can batch rename images and photos for easy uploading to your favourite photo site, there are other applications that we’ve mentioned before that can do that as well.

NameDropper is strongest when renaming videos, documents or other files. For example, if you’re trying to rename a collection of videos you’ve taken at family events, or television episodes that you’ve backed up from your own DVDs, the app can help you rename them all and organise them in sequential order.
