Instagram Updates, Restores Filters And Lets You Geotag Existing Photos

iOS: After Instagram’s last update, a number of users complained that some of the app’s most popular featured were now missing. The latest update restores those filters, and adds more.

The latest update to Instagram gives users back the “Early Bird” and “Brannan” filters that were mistakenly altered in the 2.0 update, and adds new geotagging features that allow you to go back over previously shared photos and tag them with where they were taken. After they’ve been tagged, you can view them on the Places map, or sync them with your computer and the location information will be saved.

The updated version of Instagram is available now in the iTunes App Store.
