Meteorologist Puts Detailed Weather In Your Mac’s Menu Bar

Mac OS X: There are plenty of ways to quickly check the weather on your Mac, but nothing is easier than just glancing up at your menu bar. Meteorologist not only provides you with the current temperature and weather conditions in a compact space, but a ton more with just one click.Behind the menu bar icon and temperature reading is really detail information about the current forecast. You can find out the high, low, what it feels like outside, humidity, visibility, and even a radar image. You can also check out the extended forecast for the next few days (the default is three but you can go up to nine).

Meteorologist doesn’t limit you to just one location, either. You can add as many as you want. It will even provide you with weather alerts for several different methods, such as a message on your computer, an email, a text message, or even a song. It looks like a tiny, simple, free app – and it is – but it actually packs in a ton of features and is a really handy way to check the weather on your Mac.
