Android/iOS: The internet is full of lots of useful information, but it can be kinda scattershot. Vurb aims to help that problem by collecting all the data it can find from a variety of services in one place and giving you the tools to organise it.
The app allows you to search for things like movies, TV shows, restaurants or other places. It will automatically pull in reviews from Yelp, IMDb, Metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes and whatever else it can find. You can get an address and location, find a place’s hours and make reservations.
You can save “cards” for shows, places and events into “decks” for easy browsing later. Vurb even includes a built-in messaging app so you can send info in the app to other people you know. While it’s a little ambitious for a small app, the idea is that you can get all the info you need in one place, rather than jumping between a dozen apps.
