Foxtel Play is once again offering its Premium Movies and Drama package for $5 a month for the first three months to coincide with the release of Game Of Thrones season 6. As there’s no lock-in contract, customers are free to cancel as soon as Game Of Thrones ends. There is one slight catch, however.
To get Premium Movies and Drama for $5, you also need to sign up to the standard Foxtel Play service which costs $25 per month. In other words, you’re actually spending $30 per month, or $90 for the entire season. (Usually, three months of Foxtel Play with Premium Movies and Drama would cost you $150, so you’re looking at a total saving of $60 over the three-month period.)
To get the deal, you need to sign up to Foxtel Play and select the Premium Movies and Drama pack between 18 April and 29 April. After the promotion ends, the Premium Movies and Drama pack will revert back to $25 per month — but as mentioned, customers are free to cancel at any time.
$90 might still seem like a lot of money to part with if you’re only interested in Game Of Thrones. Naturally, the deal provides access to other TV genre favourites including Penny Dreadful, The Walking Dead, Lucifer and American Horror Story. You also get access to every previous episode of Game Of Thrones on the Boxsets channel and the GoT-analysis show Thronecast.
We advise taking a close look at the rest of Foxtel Play’s content library to see if you think the deal is worth signing up for. You can find the various other ways to watch Game Of Thrones season 6 in our guide.

So the non-clickbait title would be:
“Watch Game Of Thrones Season 6 On Foxtel Play For $30 Per Month (actually)”
Saying it’s “sort of” $5 is like saying it’s “sort of” Free if you already have Foxtel with Premium Movies and Data. It’s $30.
No way are we paying $90 for a season of GoT that doesn’t even stream in HD.
Frustrating part is, I signed up for this, THEN discovered that you can’t push FOXTEL Go from iPhone/iPad to Apple TV. So now I have to watch the most epic TV show on a tiny screen with headphones.
