Swap Background Images For Dashboard, Mission Control

Mac OS X 10.7: Lion Designer is a program that allows you to change the background images for a number of utilities in OS X 10.7, including Mission Control and the login screen.

You’ll be able to edit and trade out any image you like, and if you find your design eye isn’t as keen as you thought, you can easily switch back to the default with the touch of a button. Lion Designer doesn’t do much else, but it’s a free download and if you’re sick of the look of the Lion’s background screens it’s an easy way to change them out.
