The minimalism exhibited in this featured desktop makes it seem like there’s really nothing going on, but its practical functionality and good looks actually require a reasonable amount of customisation. Reader Sean Innis Harper used several tools to make the quiet, useful little bar placed at the bottom of the screen.Want to get this look for your desktop? Here’s what you’ll need (for both Mac and Windows):
- Wallpaper: NY Tilt Shift
- Clear dock: Mirage (try RocketDock on Windows)
- Dock positioning: TinkerTool (RocketDock can handle this, too)
- Display the music currently playing: Bowtie with the Shufflesque 2 theme
- Icons: Blend, although some are custom
GeekTool is also used for some unspecified purpose.
