Today’s featured desktop builds itself on the Y axis, only flowing vertically for a nice, clean look with only the necessary functionality.
This desktop belongs to Flickr user Kanellos Papantonopoulos and was created in Windows. If you want to create a similar look, you just need to pick up Rainmeter and this stripe clock skin, as well as EmergeTray, EmergeTasks and EmergeCommand from EmergeDesktop. The wallpaper may seem like just a radial grey gradient, but it’s actually quite a bit more clever:
I have made a white layer in rainmeter which takes all of the background. The opacity of this layer changes according to the battery level, so that the lower the battery level, the more washed out the background looks.
Pretty neat!
