Netflix Just Added 31 New TV Shows And Movies [Updated]

After a relatively quiet few weeks, Netflix Australia is bringing out the big guns tonight, with a stack of new and returning Netflix Originals arriving on the service. It’s also adding a bumper-crop of new third-party movies to its library. Here’s the full list!

This weekend’s biggest highlight is probably El Camino; a new chapter in the Breaking Bad saga from the critically acclaimed series’ original creator.

Fans of zany teen drama Riverdale can kick off their Friday nights with the debut of Season 4. There’s also a new series of the docudrama Haunted to check out – it features real people recounting their experiences with the supernatural, interspersed with Conjuring-esque reenactments.

But the title we’re most keen for this weekend is the high-concept thriller Fractured – it’s about a man (played by Australia’s Sam Worthington) trying to track down his family who mysteriously disappear from a hospital emergency room. Fans of extreme cinema may also want to check out The Forest of Love; it’s been described as “a gore-drenched S&M exploitation epic”. Yikes.

As mentioned above, there are also plenty of licensed movies coming to the service tonight. Our personal recommendations are Sicario, The Purge, Elizabeth and Jaws.

The so-bad-it’s-good Jaws: The Revenge is also worth a watch. (Fun fact: The film’s star Michael Caine has reportedly banned the media from bringing up this movie during interviews. It’s not hard to see why.)

Here are the official synopses and trailers for each film and TV show.
