Specs Showdown: Google Pixel 3 XL Vs iPhone XS Max Vs Samsung Galaxy Note9

There’s a new XL-sized phone in town, and it’s time to put it to the test against its main competitors. Here’s how Google’s newly-announced Google Pixel XL stacks up against the iPhone XS Max and the Samsung Galaxy Note9.

The Google Pixel 3 XL isn’t a huge update on its predecessors, but it still holds its own against the market. Close to the same size as the others, the Pixel 3 XL is the lightest of the three. It also has the smallest display, however, at only 6.3 inches to the Note9’s 6.4 and iPhone’s 6.5.

One of the main differences between the three is the camera configuration – while the iPhone and Note9 have both adopted dual rear camera configurations, Google seems to be focusing on selfie fans with a dual front camera (including a wide angle lens for taking what Google has dubbed ‘groupies’).

The Pixel 3 XL is the cheapest of the lot by at least $100, and is more than $400 cheaper than the iPhone XS Max, so that’s worth keeping in mind.

The Samsung Note9 is still the only option for those who want a headphone jack and no notch, however.

Here’s how the stats compare:
