Build Your Own Miniature, Portable, Time Lapse Camera

Build Your Own Miniature, Portable, Time Lapse Camera

Ever wanted to make your own camera? Sure, you could use a Raspberry Pi, but Adafuit has a guide for doing it a little cheaper using a miniature spy camera module.

With just a few parts and some soldering skills, you can put this together pretty easily. The end result is a tiny little camera that saves photos to an SD card and can work as a time lapse camera. You’re not going to get the best quality image in the world here, but it still might prove useful for any project idea you might where quality doesn’t really matter. The whole thing is crammed inside a 3D printed case, which you can get printed for you without actually owning a printer. Head over to Adafruit for the full guide.
