The LittleBits Gizmos & Gadgets Kit Includes Electronics Projects You Can Do With Your Kids

We’ve always been big fans of littleBits, but while they have long made electronics projects easy, they have never been great for younger kids. The recently released Gizmos & Gadgets kit changes that.

Like other littleBits kits, the Gizmos & Gadgets kit is recommended for ages 8 and up, but this time around the projects are much more suited for kids in the 8 year old range (and depending on the kid, could easily work for a slightly younger audience as well).

The projects included in this kit include a tiny robotic car, a rotating lamp, a small bumper game, and more. This time around, kids will have everything they need to complete a ton of different projects that play off of different science, tech, art, and maths skills. If you’ve found the other littleBits kits a little too advanced for kids, this one’s worth a look.

You can find littleBits products in Australia, but there’s no word on when the Gizmos & Gadgets Kit will be made available locally. The kit almost surpasses the company’s bar for free shipping, but unfortunately that doesn’t apply to outside the US.
