LG Adds Budget Spirit And Leon Phones To Its Australian Offering

LG is gearing up to announce the not-at-all-secret LG G4, but meanwhile, it has also announced the LG Spirit and Leon phones for the Australian market.

At $199 for the LG Spirit and $149 for the LG Leon, LG is being a little optimistic describing these as “mid-range” phones, given their budget status, but there’s nothing wrong with a budget phone if your needs are modest.

The Spirit is a 4.7″ Android 5.0 (“Lollipop”) phone with a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 8GB of memory and a 2,100mAh battery that will sell through Vodafone and “selected retailers” including Big W from late April. Meanwhile, Optus will offer the LG Leon, a 4.5″ Android 5.0 phone with a 1.2Ghz Quad Core processor, 8GB of memory and a 1,900mAh battery in early May.
