DuckDuckGo Releases New Beta Interface With Image And Video Search

DuckDuckGo, the privacy-focused search engine full of useful shortcuts, just released a new beta interface focusing on smarter answers, image and video search and auto-suggest.

Essentially, DuckDuckGo has redesigned its interface to better point out what it thinks you’re trying to find — whether that be images, videos, places, or anything else. It also has quite a few customisation options available through the new “hamburger” menu in the upper right-hand corner.

You can access the new version by heading to next.duckduckgo.com, which is currently in beta. DuckDuckGo says it’s planning to roll this out over the next month, and that it currently still has a few issues — some settings that don’t work and a few instant answers still need fixing. But if you’re a DuckDuckGo fan, it’s definitely worth checking out.
