YouTube For iOS Adds Send-To-TV Feature For Google TV, Xbox And PS3

iOS: The YouTube app for the iPhone and iPad has received an update that adds the ability to send videos from your iOS device straight to your Google TV, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and select other smart TVs.

The update adds the same Send to TV functionality to the iOS versions that the Android version of the app has had for a while. Essentially, you pair your iOS device with your game console or smart TV using a code. To do this, head into the Settings in the iOS app, and then select “Pair YouTube TV”. Then, on your game console or smart TV, load up the YouTube app, head into the settings and select “Pair Device”. You’ll get a nine-digit code to enter into the app on your phone, and then you can start controlling videos on your TV right away.
