The $US10-$US15ish upgrade consists of an LED bulb and a few fittings to turn your yellowish, loosely focused light into a bright white beam. There are different LED upgrade kits for different Maglites, so make sure you get the correct one. What’s neat is that the light isn’t just brighter and whiter, LEDs are also more efficient, so your flashlight lasts longer too.
