Amazon UK Has Free Postage If You Spend Over £25

If you buy physical goods from overseas sites, postage is often the biggest consideration. Amazon’s UK site is making that a little simpler until May, offering free postage on books, music, DVDs and videos to Australia (and New Zealand).

The deal applies to anything in those categories provided it is shipped by Amazon itself, and runs until May 15, 2011. Provided you want to buy more than one item, that’s both potentially cheaper and more transparent for books than Amazon’s most obvious UK rival, the Book Depository, which claims free postage but actually calculates different prices based on a guess at where your location is.
