It’s the start of a new year in which we can do better and be better using everything we’ve learned in the days behind us. If you could give only one piece of advice for 2011, what would it be?

The talented writer, actor, and everything-else-er Felicia Day wrote a New Year’s post about the five things she learned this year and it’s a great set of advice. This got me thinking about how much I’ve learned this year. In 2009, I felt like I learned and grew a lot, so 2010 was especially amazing because it was even better in that regard. I feel like I’ve invited many good things into my life by listening more and staying open to new possibilities. This has helped me learn and continue to grow. The Lifehacker community is a great one, so I thought one great way to start off 2011 would be to hear your best advice for the new year. What have you learned that you think would benefit others? Pick the one piece of advice that you consider your best and share it in the comments.
