Windows RT Isn’t Quite Dead (But It’s Still Not Becoming Windows 10 Either)

Windows RT users won’t see a free upgrade to Windows 10 on July 29th, but there’s one last gasp of life left in Microsoft’s ARM-based OS.

According to a tweet from Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul, Windows RT will see a update to bring it to Windows 8.1 RT Update 3 in September.

It’s not clear what the update will include; it could be Windows 10-style features to keep the smaller RT crowd happy, or just bug and security fixes for that matter.
