MisHaps Unobtrusively Puts Your Contact Info On Your Misplaced Phone’s Lock Screen

If you have a lock on your phone, it can be hard to get it returned when you lose it. misHaps puts your contact info right on your lock screen so you can get it back quickly and easily.

We’ve shared some slightly less advanced ways of doing this before, but misHaps does a great job of staying out of your way when you don’t need it. Instead of always appearing on your lock screen, misHaps will only appear after the screen has been turned on for a certain amount of time (between 5 seconds and one minute).

You can set a message, name, phone number and email address, as well as contact info for an emergency contact (if you were in an emergency and someone found your phone). It’s completely unobtrusive, but a great safeguard to have in place if you lose your phone. Of course, if you’ve already lost your phone, you can try and get it back with previously mentioned Plan B, too.

misHaps is a $0.99 download for Android devices.
