Like any meal, the key to a good packed lunch is balance. A school lunch should be healthy, tasty, and easy enough that you (the parent) actually has time to pack it and ‘thinking in threes’ can help make this a reality.
Packing a lunch is a skill kids can learn, but they need your help. It pays off, though: Your kid gains some independence and learns about how to put together a healthy meal. Best of all, you have one less thing to do in the morning.
