You Can Still Use Night Shift Mode And Low Power Mode At The Same Time With A Siri Glitch

iOS: Last month, we showed off a simple way to have both the popular Night Shift and Low Power Mode enabled at the same time in iOS. Apple patched that glitch with iOS 9.3.1, but YouTuber iDeviceHelp points out that they introduced another.

Again, you’ll use Siri to force this mode to work. The process is a tad bit more convoluted this time though:

  1. Head to the Settings panel for Night Shift under Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift.
  2. Tap and hold the home button to bring up Siri.
  3. Ask Siri to “Enable Low Power Mode.” Once it’s on, press the home button to return to the Night Shift Settings panel.
  4. Tap “Manually Enable Until Tomorrow” to turn on Night Shift.

Now, both Low Power Mode and Night Shift are enabled at the same time. It’s hard to say exactly how much of a power draw Night Shift eats up, but if you like having both of these options on at once, at least you can now.
