DIY blog PlastiBots decided the best solution for finding missing objects in the dark was to add LED lights into the footwell controlled by a small switch.Using one of the empty slots on the dash, a touch capitative sensor controls the state of the Lego-mounted LED lights. It takes a bit of work to cut into the dash and wire everything, but if you’re the type to perpetually drop things on the floor of your poorly lit car, it’s a handy means to easily find your stuff again.
