Use Product Packaging As A Travel Case

Neatly packing all your stuff into a suitcase can often seem pointless when it’s thrown back into disarray the moment a few things shift around. Rather than throwing out product packaging, use it as a packing aid.

I love packing cubes, personally, but if you want a free alternative you might consider using product packaging you might have otherwise thrown out (or hoarded for no good reason). Some product packing, like what you’ll find with most iPod products, is tiny and stores the product efficiently. Some boxes will be big and seem to have a lot of extra space and compartments, but you can use them to store more than just the product that came with them. Digital camera boxes have a ton of compartments that are great for organising your stuff. Once you’ve got your packaging packed, you can just put it in your suitcase and travel with a bunch of organised boxes instead fragile arrangement of items just waiting to be messed up again.
